The forebrain, the hindbrain and crisis

In a crisis, the forebrain shuts down — so you lose executive function. Crisis removes decision making abilities, so the hindbrain takes over. You function very efficiently, but with no thought.

How do I get concentrated focus with no distraction — before a crisis forces me to make hindbrain decisions?

Aha grasshopper — that is a big key.

You must process everything as soon as it is plausible. Crisis will be minimized if everything has been collected, processed, organized and reviewed. Things that are done are not in crisis.
