When you are faced with tasks that are challenging you, I would suggest the following technique:
Propose Positive Perceptions
If you hate something, change your negative perceptions into something positive.
For example, if you find the closest parking space near your destination is far away, consider this proposal: the long walk is excellent exercise. By reframing the issue into a benefit, negativity is negated and positive perceptions are formed.
For me, proposing positive perceptions is a great motivational technique for getting things done.
